On-Site Programming
Local workshops are an immersive way for Grounding Steppes to connect with your organization and provide experiential activities that build relationships between the self, others, and the natural world. Designed specifically to meet the needs of your organization, these half to full-day workshops provide the space and intentionality for starting conversations and practices when it comes to addressing compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma for caregivers.
Our on-site programming is a beautiful compliment to our seasonal workshops. We want to work with you to customize your organization’s follow up and follow through when it comes to restoring caregiver resilience. Whether it’s providing a variety of tools for individuals to use on a weekly basis, designing monthly huddles and reflective activities for staff members, or creating pathways for nature engagement at your workplace, Grounding Steppes will help.
Our long-distance programming is for organizations outside of the Southeastern Washington community. Similar to our on-site programming, Grounding Steppes will consult with your organization to assess your needs and design helpful, restorative programming to be delivered and led by your own staff. Look for our Train the Trainer programs, designed to empower caregiving leaders to confidently deliver programming at their own organizations without draining themselves, coming soon!
Our programs are designed to support healing processes for caregivers who may experience compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. We integrate resilience building techniques with methods of nature engagement that benefit human health and well-being.
**We recommend that organizations participate in seasonal workshops and on-site programming in order to provide a culture of continual support for caregivers.**
